What do you charge to FINISH a quilt - square it off, make binding, sew it on and handstitch it down?

At this point in my business, I have only done the quilting part for customers. Now I have a lady who doesn't quilt at all, and just happened to make some quilts as a young lady with her grandmother who has now passed away and she wants her tops to be made into quilts. What is a fair price to charge for doing the finishing work? Thanks for your input!

At our shop to do all of the above we charge $3.50/ ft. Alot of times this will cost more than the quilting itself. Ultimily the goal is for everyone to do their own binding. But in the end this is a service don't short change yourself your times worth as much as theirs. We also offer to make the binding and sew it to one side, make it sew it by machine on both sides. We still have customers who just hate to do binding. I do show people how to do binding on a regular basis at no charge.
Hope this helps

My charge for just stitching the binding to the front of the quilt is $0.05 per inch. If they want me to hand stich it down, it is $0.15 per inch. If I have to make the binding as well as do all the sewing it is $.20 per inch. I know this is less than the other answer, but I can do the hand work at home watching tv. If many wanted it done, I know I would raise my prices, but I mostly do the "stitch to the front" while it is on the longarm and it takes, at most, half an hour.
Figure out what YOUR time is worth and charge accordingly.
